You won’t run form this turkey recipe it’s hassle free with my Minettes Gourmet Dry Marinades ( Chicken & Turkey). This recipe is delicious and easy and will achieve brilliant results  for your Christmas meals.

Take the turkey out of the fridge and let it sit for an hour for room temperature. Wash the turkey and pat dry with some kitchen towel. Mix our Minette Gourmet Dry Marinades with some sunflower oil and drizzle over the turkey and then rub it all over the turkey. Crush your garlic (you can use pureed garlic in you prefer ) in a mortar and add it to the remaining oil and spice mix, now rub it all over the turkey. Now place on the side and cover with foil for half an hour to marinate.

Preheat your oven to full heat, and begin on your stuffing. I use Sainsburys apple and herb stuffing. Add 260 ml of boiling water and mix well with the breadcrumbs, sprinkle our Minettes Gourmet Dry Marinade - Chicken and Turkey spice. Add sage and leaves and chopped red onion (you may prefer to use the mortar for crushing the onion. Roll every thing into a ball and stand for 10 minutes or until you are ready to use it.

Check your turkey every 25 minutes and keep basting it with juices from the pan. Roast for another 2 1/2 hours and keep basting it as above. Remove the foil for the skin to become golden brown and crispy.  Check the turkey with a sharp knife and if the juices run clear and the meat moves apart easily, it’s ready, if not pop it back in the oven, and keeping checking every 1O mins. When the turkey is cooked, rest the turkey on a rack for 30 mins.

Now, prepare your roast potatoes, brussel sprouts, french beans and parsnips.
